Founded in Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK, in 1991, Richmond Printmakers was formed by a core of enthusiastic local artists to exhibit and sell their prints. We share the work of mounting exhibitions, both locally and further afield.

Whilst many of our exhibitions are held in the general area of Richmond, we also visit locations in central London, and we have exhibited at the National Theatre and the Barbican Centre. Individually, several members have also exhibited in the national open exhibitions at the Royal Academy, the Bankside Gallery and the Mall Galleries, as well as in commercial galleries.

We aim to preserve the traditions of print-making, while also exploring new and experimental approaches. All the works produced by Richmond Printmakers are original prints. That is, they are limited edition artists' etchings, lithographs, monoprints, relief and silkscreen prints.
